Welcome to the 2014-2015 school year! We are excited about the school year and are looking forward to the many challenges that it may bring.
There have been a few changes in the faculty here at Rickman Elementary. There is also a change in the time of the instructional day. The instructional day here at Rickman Elementary begins at 7:45 and will end at 2:45. This is the time that classroom instruction is actually taking place. Students need to be in the classroom, prepared for the school day, and ready to learn at 7:45. In order for students to be prepared for instruction to begin at 7:45, we strongly encourage students to be in the classrooms at 7:30. This is also the time that students will be counted tardy/late. Announcements will take place at 7:40. In the afternoons, car riders will not be dismissed until 2:45. We will be sending out a school messenger message to inform you of this as well.
Parents are always welcome at Rickman Elementary! Your input and support is vital to the success of our school. We appreciate you all.

Welcome to Rickman Elementary School. Our school is a tremendous place for children to learn, grow, develop, and succeed. The faculty here at Rickman is caring, and dedicated to the success of every single child. Our school motto is, "Bulldogs: Believe, Achieve, and Succeed." I firmly believe that success in school leads to success in life, and we strive to provide a learning environment that promotes positive attitudes and builds self-esteem.
We invite ongoing communication with families, and my door is always open. I appreciate your input, and I look forward to partnering with you and your child during these very important growing years.
Welcome to Rickman Elementary. We are looking forward to another exciting and meaningful school year. We encourage families to be active participants in their children's learning experience. It is my belief that as parents, teachers, and administrators, we can all work together to achieve a common goal which is to help each student become a successful learner. Through the collaborative efforts of our faculty, families, and students we can be successful in preparing our students for their future both academically and socially.
