Principal's Message
Dear Parents,
As we begin this school year, let me first say that I am honored to be the principal at Rickman Elementary School. This is a school that I have loved greatly from a very early age. I sincerely appreciate and admire all the many wonderful teachers and administrators that have worked at Rickman Elementary over the years.
It is my goal to provide a safe learning environment where each child is pushed to learn to his or her potential. I want the students of Rickman Elementary to have a sound educational foundation that will ensure their success not only in high school but also in their future careers. I also want each child to know that he or she is important and instill in them a sense of pride in their school and community.
Teamwork and quality communication are key components of a successful school. The faculty, parents, and students must all work together in order to achieve the most possible for each child and “our” school overall.
Again, I am honored to be your child’s principal and wish each of them a successful school year. Please come by school and see us. Together, we will have a great year.
Sincerely,
Dr. Donnie Holman,
Principal

Welcome to Rickman Elementary School. Our school is a tremendous place for children to learn, grow, develop, and succeed. The faculty here at Rickman is caring, and dedicated to the success of every single child. Our school motto is, "Bulldogs: Believe, Achieve, and Succeed." I firmly believe that success in school leads to success in life, and we strive to provide a learning environment that promotes positive attitudes and builds self-esteem.
We invite ongoing communication with families, and my door is always open. I appreciate your input, and I look forward to partnering with you and your child during these very important growing years.
Sincerely,
Assistant Principal,
Kelly Pendergrass

Welcome to Rickman Elementary. We are looking forward to another exciting and meaningful school year. We encourage families to be active participants in their children's learning experience. It is my belief that as parents, teachers, and administrators, we can all work together to achieve a common goal which is to help each student become a successful learner. Through the collaborative efforts of our faculty, families, and students we can be successful in preparing our students for their future both academically and socially.
Assistant Principal,
Julia Poston
