Thursday, March 21, Rickman 8th graders attended the Career Summit at TCAT and Livingston Academy. Students learned about various majors/programs of study and explored potential careers such as electrician, plumber, aviation, IT, health science, welding, diesel mechanic, plant science, home economics, robotics, and cosmetology.
Thank you to Ms. Courtney Todd for organizing this event and to everyone at TCAT and LA who took time out of their day to speak to our students. Also, a huge thank you to Ms. Baker, Mr. Sells, Mrs. Todd, and Mrs. Kemp for arranging this field trip for our 8th grade students.
