Not all field trips require a bus! The Tennessee state Museum brought the history of the Civil War to life for our second graders through a virtual field trip. students learned about the experiences of soldiers and the significance of battles in our state without leaving their classrooms. To make the experience ever more tangible, the museum sent a traveling trunk to Rickman, allowing students to view real Civil War artifacts.
