Kindergarten

Standard: 7.6

General Idea:  Students will describe responsibilities in the family, school, and community.

Lesson:  Students will learn about reduce, reuse, and recycle. Students will learn ways they can help our environment. 

 

First Grade

Standard: 7.5

General Idea: Students will develop healthy friendships. 

Lesson:   The teacher will read Tiara Cookies for Three and discuss what happened in the story.  We will use the FRIEND poem to discuss what makes a good friend. 

 

Second Grade

Standard: 7.1, 7.3, 7.5, 7.7

General Idea:  Students will acquire the attitudes, knowledge, and interpersonal skills to help them understand and respect self and others. 

Lesson:    WONDERful kids activity.  Learning about differences and empathy for those around us.  

 

 

Third Grade

Standard: 2.1

General Idea:  Students will demonstrate academic success. 

Lesson:  Test stress first aid kit, reading Testing Mrs. Malarkey

 

 

 

Fourth Grade

Standard: 2.1

General Idea:  Students will demonstrate academic success. 

Lesson:  Preparing for testing using Pictionary
