We're excited to share a new school-wide initiative led by our school counselors, Mrs. Ray and Ms. Baker, focused on the power of GOOD. Throughout the year, our students will explore ways to shift their perspective and understand that even on challenging days, there is always something positive to discover. By encouraging students to see the good, find the good, and do the good, we hope to foster a community of kindness, resilience, and optimism throughout our school. Our 5th graders are exploring physical and chemical changes in science this week! Today, they observed an exciting Cola and Mentos demonstration and discussed the science behind the reaction.

Independence Day for our Kindergarteners is September 8th!! We loved seeing all your smiling faces this week in the hallways. Due to the safety of our school, we are only allowing Kindergarten parents to walk students into school starting next week. Our kindergarten will earn independence on September 8th!

We had a special visitor today! Mr. Mike came to visit our Rickman family. He surprised the staff with his presence and donuts. Mr. Mike and RES want to thank each and every family that donated to his medical bills. Because of you all, we raised $2,800 for Mr. Mike. We are so grateful for our families and community! 💜💛
