Our recent food drive was a huge success thanks to our generous families. Independent Stave has graciously donated storage cabinets to help us protect and store food for our families. These young ladies helped to fill and organize them today. Our community is fantastic and we are grateful for each of you!

Just a friendly reminder for students to return the smoke alarm papers to their school no later than tomorrow, December 15, 2025 , if they have not already done so.
Mrs. Todd’s class spent the day learning about Eli Whitney’s invention of the cotton gin and how it revolutionized the process of separating seeds from cotton. Students experienced firsthand how challenging this task was to do by hand — and how it impacted overall yield. They also explored how cotton is grown today, including its role as a GMO crop.
In addition, her ISM class had the wonderful opportunity to groom these beautiful puppies as part of their ongoing learning experiences. The students loved helping prepare them for their future forever homes!
